This weekend I was privileged to see Ziggy Marley performing at the Cowan Avenue Elementary School in Westchester. The afternoon was a fundraiser, with a bake sale, silent auction, the whole nine. With a scaled-down version of his regular band, Marley performed about 5 songs from his new album,
Family Time, and threw a "Three Little Birds" in there for good measure. The thousand or so kids present were mesmerized, and Ziggy never stopped smiling the whole time. Here are some photos of the event. Enjoy!
